This simple “cake” I still have so deep in the memory of my childhood!

No-bake biscuit cake| Biscuits, pudding, milk, sugar| easy, quick cake without baking, for any occasion

Yes, my mum has made this one very often to children’s birthday parties or just for us children as a cheat! So delicious! And so easy!

Your family will adore this! Believe me!

Here’s the recipe!

No-bake biscuit cake

  • Servings: 10
  • Time: 20 minutes
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

Ingredients:

  • 300 g butter cookies
  • 1 package vanilla pudding powder
  • 1 package chocolate pudding powder
  • milk
  • some cocoa
  • 1 rectangular dish or baking pan

Directions:

  1. First, prepare the pudding according to the package directions.
  2. In a small bowl whisk some milk with cocoa. Now dip briefly one butter cookie after another in the cocoa and build the first layer in the form.
  3. Then spread some chocolate pudding over it and start with the next layer of cookies.
  4. After that, spread some vanilla pudding. Proceed that way until all the cookies are layered.
  5. As final layer spread the remaining pudding.
  6. Put this easy biscuit cake for a couple of hours in the fridge!

  1. What a quick and delicious treat. It’s full of unexpected flavors and goodness. I love recipes that come with a memory attached, there are many of those from my childhood that I absolutely love. This could be a great treat that is inexpensive and really tasty especially for kids. Lol I am just justifying making this for myself!

      1. Well because before electricity, they called their refrigerators ice boxes and the ice man would come around and drop off ice to the homes. And this kind of cake has to be refrigerated. So: icebox cake! Anyway, it sounds delish!!
